You Are Not Alone: Help Is Available

Navigating life after an abortion looks different for everyone. For some women, abortion can result in significant mental health effects, including:

  • Sadness
  • Grief
  • Feelings of loss
  • Depression
  • Anxiety

These impacts may appear immediately after an abortion or gradually over a longer period of time. They might resurface around specific dates, such as your anticipated due date, or when you’re around pregnant or parenting women.

It can be challenging to ask for help after an abortion. You may wonder if it is “too late” to find support, whether you will be judged, or what resources are available.

Know that we’re here to walk with you as you process your experience and point you toward the resources you need. You’ll never be judged or shamed here.

What We Offer

Our Healing Weekend Retreats offer a compassionate and transformative space where women and men can find the courage to confront past abortion pain, embrace forgiveness, and begin a powerful journey toward healing and renewal. Mental health counselors and ordained clergy, along with a compassionate retreat team, are there to affirm and support you.

Whether you are interested in healing through faith-based resources or other means, we are happy to refer you to trained mental health professionals and clergy who can assist you on your journey.
